Authentic mexican salsa. Tomatoes, onion, and jalapeno chopped and combined with cilantro, fresh lime juice, salt and pepper. Simple salsa served on the side of most mexican cuisine.
Ingredients -
8 Roma Tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup Red Onion, finely chopped
2 Jalapenos, minced
1/2 cup Cilantro, chopped
Juice of 1/2 a Fresh Lime
1/2 teaspoon Coarse Salt
1/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Preparation:
1. Combine roma tomatoes, red onion, jalapenos, cilantro, fresh lime juice, in a small serving bowl.
2. Season with salt and pepper.

Roma Tomatoes
Roma tomatoes are a good choice for Pico de Gallo. This salsa is generally less liquid, if a substitution for the romas is made, use the tomato flesh and drain off the liquid and remove the seeds.
